NBC's Meet the Press

Recently my friend Joey invited Taylor and I to visit his work.  He is a research assistant (mr. everything) at NBC's Meet the Press hosted by David Gregory.  Taylor and I both brought a friend and had to be in D.C. at 815 am on a sunday morning!  Yikes.  Well, after a few wrong turns we finally got there just in the nick of time.  Luckily we had to wait in the lobby before entering the studio and watched a few of the polictical celebrities enter the building who were there for the show.  After the seating with a few of the other visitors we had to be absolutely quiet and watched the taping of the show.  Joey was a hero for the day, he was kind enough to speak with the Speaker of the House of the US Representatives- Rep. John Boehner and asked him to meet Taylor and her friend Chloe as well as take a quick snap shot.

After the show we stayed back and waited for the "round table" to finish chatting and we then went up to the set and took pictures with the host David Gregory, for those of you who thinks he's tall that's an understatement please see the comparison to the 5'2 1/2" Taylor!

After Joey was done working for the day off we went for a tour of the NBC building.  The girls had fun, playing anchor at the guest desk, checking out the local news studio, msnbc studio, even playing weather girl, etc.

 We toured the offices and ran into NBC 4's Reporter Kimberly Sueters and she took a picture with the girls.

Time flew and before we knew it it was about 12pm.  We ended the day so Joey could go to bed.  Getting to work at 230am takes a lot of will power; congrats to him for winning that battle every weekend. 

Taylor and Chloe really enjoyed the trip as did I and i'm sure they'll cherish the memories!  Thanks Joey!!!
